Singer-songwriter John Denver touched millions of people, and achieved superstar status through his pop-folk songs based on folk, many of them based in Colorado. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. was born in Roswell New Mexico. He fell in love Colorado. He later made his way to Aspen. A few took the road to Colorado following the Denver's cult songs for his home state. G.
